Sierra Madre is located south of the Western Highlands in Guatemala, and is known for its steep volcanic terrain. These Bourbon varietals attain maturity at altitudes ranging from 4000 -í« 5900 ft above sea level, and are wet processed to clearly express their high acidity and heavy bodied flavor. When light roasted, these coffee beans give off an aroma that is laced with mild nutty undertones, and a resonating citrus finish.
