Hello. I would like to introduce myself and my mission. I am Shawn Dunaway, the founder of Green Coffee.com. My mission is to bring to you, the coffee roaster, the best coffees on the market. I will also do it at the best price, and with a transparency that has long been lacking in the coffee markets.

We’re a new site, but the idea behind it has been brewing since 1999. I’m a former coffee roasters who grew very frustrated with the inefficiencies and confusion in the coffee market. I am looking for partners in the coffee business to give input on how to improve the market for green coffee.

How can we help you? We aim to be more than just a source of coffee. I provide personalized services across the board.

For the Grower

We can help you find the buyers who will appreciate the work and dedication you put in to your green coffee. We know your coffee is special and we will make your story known to the buyers and those who drink the coffee. We also provide a resource page with trade association links and other information to help the grower.

For the Broker

We offer help as they search for rare coffees grown with zeal and dedication to quality. We can offer exposure to both the farmer and the roaster, bringing modern technology to an ancient market. Many brokers have been very gracious in sharing their knowledge of the market, and we hope that tradition will continue.

For the Roaster

We know that trying to track down reliable sources of green coffee is a big job. We can cut out the detective work and make the green coffees of the world available to you in one place. We offer fair trade coffee and organic coffee. Also, many of our coffees that are not so labeled still have compelling back stories and help improve the lives of their growers.

We realize that we are attempting an ambitious project. It is no less than to create a transparent marketplace for green coffee. Our experience as small roasters is what compelled us to try to become the change we wanted to see. Here are some of the other helpful things we do for you:

· We provide information on the latest advances in the technology of roasting.

· We have information on each coffee. If your customers know the story behind their coffee, it is easier for you to sell.

· We offer a coffee harvest chart that enables you to plan your purchases with an eye to supply and demand.

· Our home page displays live commodity prices.
